Meeting with my case worker

So today was the last meeting at the office with my case worker. Now on to the home visit and that's scheduled for next Thursday, 5/4/06! Everything has been moving along so quickly! It's so exciting! Of course, I realize there may very well be delays and frustrations down the road in the process, but I'm hopeful and praying that God uses this time to teach me, prepare me more, and strengthen me for the long journey ahead, which I'm assured that He will do.

So the 1st meeting with my social worker went very well!! This is the 1st of 4 office visits with her then the 5th will be the home visit. She asked if I had a name picked out and I told her it was Connor.. she said "Okay, well from now on we'll start referring to 'him' as Connor." She said she believes that he's already conceived. It's so exciting!! I think I realized that previously but to hear her say it is completely different & absolutely amazing!! It's amazing how I've long ago fallen in love with this little baby boy even though he's not even born yet.

Today's meeting with my case worker went very well. It was so much fun telling her all about my childhood and my family. She also said that next week's meeting may very well be the last meeting we'll have to have then comes the home visit!! WOW! It's gone by so quickly, which is great! The faster we get through this, the closer I get to bringing home Connor.

My case worker called today to set up our 1st meeting, so that was very exciting news! I'll be meeting with her next Thursday (April 13th) @ noon. So this will be the 1st of about 3 meetings at the Bethany office, then the final one will be the actual home visit where she comes to visit my home. So things should start rolling along here.
